Making Measurements
Performing a Simple Magnitude Calibration
On the Signal Analyzer:
1. Select Mode/Meas > Spectrum Analyzer Mode > OK.
2. Select Preset > Mode Preset to set the analyzer to a known state.
3. Select Frequency and set the Start Freq to 3 GHz and Stop Freq to 4 GHz.
4. Select Sweep > Sweep Config tab and set the Points to 101.
5. Select Trace. In the Select Trace drop down, select Trace 1.
6. Set Trace Type to Max Hold, and then in the View/Blank area, select
Active.
If accessing the instrument via a Remote Desktop connection, select the
Screen tab (at the top left of the display) to open the
Mode/Measurement/View Selector window.
