Making Measurements
Using Complex Cal to Improve EVM in a 128 QAM Signal
3. Select Mode/Meas > Vector Modulation Analyzer Mode > Digital Demod
Measurement > Normal View > OK.
4. Select Frequency > Center Frequency to 5 GHz.
5. Select Meas Setup > Demod tab > Modulation Format. In the Modulation
Format windows, set Group to QAM Formats > Format 128-QAM, then
select OK.
6. Set Symbol Rate to 10 MHz.
7. Select BW and set Info BW to 20 MHz.
8. Select Meas Setup > Settings tab > Averaging On to smooth the signal.
You should now see the constellation, signal, and metrics.
9. On the signal generator, select RF Output > Off to disable the RF output.
10. Disconnect the cable from the signal generator and connect it to the RCal
module.
11. Select Input/Output > Calibration tab > Configuration to navigate to the
Calibration Configuration window.
