External Control
Output on/off control
The output on/off can be controlled using an external contact.
When the external contact is closed the output turns off.
• J2-19 is pulled up internally to + 5 V or + 15 V using 10
k
Ω resistor. (Type I is + 15 V, Type II is + 5 V)
• J2-20 is approximately at the same electrical potential as
the negative output terminal.
• Off has precedence in the output on/off operation. There-
fore, if the OUTPUT switch on the front panel is not turned
on, the output cannot be turned on/off using the external
contact.
•
If you press the LIMIT switch when the OUTPUT switch is on
and the external contact is closed (output off condition), a cor
-
rect output setting will not be displayed. Turn off the OUT-
PUT switch first and then press the LIMIT switch
.
