Sanitization Procedure for K5 Air Charge – Household Bleach (unscented)
1. Close feed / close tank
valve.
2. Open faucet to
depressurize system.
3. Attach anti-spray line and
close faucet.

4. Remove postfilter and
install cartridge plug.
5. Open tank ball valve.
6. Open faucet to empty
permeate from storage tank.

7. Close faucet.
8. Remove cartridges Install cartridge plugs in these locations,
except prefilter.
Install 4 plugs in these locations.
(RO, Auxiliary 1, Auxiliary 2, Post)
9. Add 5 mL unscented bleach to a sanitization cartridge that
is half full of clean water and install in prefilter position.
10. Slowly open feed valve
