Sanitization Procedure for K5 Air Charge – Microbiological Purifier Chlorine - Dioxide
1. Crush one tablet of cleaning agent and add
to 4 oz. of hard or soft water.
2. Close the cold water supply valve.
This is your pre-dissolved solution that will be used in later steps.
The solution must be used within 8 hours
Cleaning Agent: chlorine dioxide tablet
(crush tablet while still in packet) or granules
When depressurized, install anti-spray line.
5. Remove the Purefecta virus filter cartridge.
Add cartridge plug.
6. Remove the postfilter and install a
cartridge plug in the postfilter position.
7. Remove the RO cartridge, set it aside,
keeping it filled with water. Replace it with
a cartridge plug.
8. Open the storage tank valve to empty the
tank.
