9. Once flow has stopped at the faucet, close faucet but leave the storage tank valve open.
11. Turn jack screw completely
(counterclockwise).
12. Remove cartridge plug from auxiliary position where the Purefecta virus filter cartridge was,
empty any water, crush one tablet of cleaning agent, add to plug and reinstall in the Auxiliary
position.
Cleaning Agent: chlorine dioxide tablet (crush tablet
while still in packet) or granules
13. By dropper, add 2 mL of solution to a
cartridge plug and install in the prefilter
position.
14. Slowly crack the supply valve part way
open for 1 minute and then close.
