What causes low metering in Kinze 3600 Lawn and Garden Equipment pump?
    • L
      Lucas CameronSep 16, 2025
If your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment pump is experiencing low metering, several factors could be responsible. The valves may be fouled or in the wrong place, so inspect and clean them. There might be an air leak in the suction line, which would need repair. The pump setting could be too low, requiring adjustment. Lastly, a valve spring might be broken, necessitating replacement.

Why don't the clutches disengage on my Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment?
    • J
      Jonathan ArnoldAug 25, 2025
If no clutches disengage on your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the main fuse in the control console is blown and replace it if defective. Next, inspect for poor terminal connections or any damage to the wiring harness and repair or replace as needed. Also, ensure there is adequate voltage at the coil (12 volts required); check the battery connections. Address each of these potential issues to restore clutch disengagement.

Why won't one clutch engage on my Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment?
    • P
      prestonmichaelAug 26, 2025
If one clutch will not engage on your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment, there are several potential causes: * Blown fuses: Replace any defective fuses. * Stuck actuator arm and plunger: Remove, free up, and reinstall the actuator arm and plunger if they are stuck in the disengaged position. * Misadjusted actuator arm: Adjust the actuator arm mounting pin in the slot so that the actuator arm clears the stop on the stop collar by approximately 1/8" when the clutch is rotated. * Broken or stretched wrap spring: Disassemble the clutch and replace the spring. * Obstruction touching the stop collar: Check to ensure the collar is free to turn with the clutch. * Incorrect clutch assembly: Check the clutch and diagram for correct assembly.

What causes clutch slipping on Kinze 3600?
    • M
      Melissa MillerAug 26, 2025
If the clutch is slipping on your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment, the wrap spring may be stretched. To check, “lock” the clutch output shaft from turning, place a torque wrench on the input shaft, and rotate it in the direction of drive. After the input shaft has rotated a short distance, the wrap spring should tighten onto the input hub. If slippage occurs at less than 100 ft. lbs., replace the spring. If the spring still slips after installing a new spring, replace the input hub.

Why does my Kinze 3600 pump over meter?
    • J
      Jocelyn GarrisonSep 17, 2025
If your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment pump over meters, it could be due to a broken discharge valve spring, trash under the valves, or an improper rate setting. Replace the spring if broken, inspect and clean the valves to remove any trash, and adjust the pump setting to the correct rate.

    Luke KellySep 23, 2025
Why is the oil temperature high in my Kinze 3600?
    • J
      Jasmine SmithSep 23, 2025
If the oil temperature is high in your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment, it's likely due to a low oil level. Check the oil level and add oil as required.

Why does the left wing raise faster than the right wing on my Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment?
    • C
      Corey HallSep 8, 2025
If the left wing of your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment raises faster than the right wing, it's likely that the master cylinder, located on the rear side of the center post, is leaking internally. To fix this, you'll need to repair the master cylinder.

Why does right wing raise faster than left wing on Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment?
    • C
      Catherine DavisSep 9, 2025
If the right wing of your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment raises faster than the left wing, it's likely that the master cylinder, located on the front side of the center post, is leaking internally. To resolve this, repair the master cylinder.
  • M
    Melissa MooneySep 2, 2025
Why won't the cylinders retract on my Kinze 3600?
    • J
      Jane HowardSep 2, 2025
If the cylinders on your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment will not retract, the solenoid valve coil in port V4 may not be energized, or the solenoid valve cartridge in port V4 could be stuck closed. To troubleshoot, first check for power to the coil and inspect the coil ground wire. If those are okay, switch the coil from port V4 with the coil from port V3. If the cylinders then retract but will not extend, replace the defective coil. Alternatively, the solenoid valve cartridge in port V4 could be stuck closed. Try switching the cartridge in port V4 with the cartridge in port V3. If the cylinders retract but will not extend, replace the defective cartridge.

Why won't the cylinders extend or retract on my Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment?
    • A
      Andrew DanielsAug 31, 2025
If the cylinders on your Kinze Lawn and Garden Equipment will not extend or retract, the issue might be due to no power reaching the solenoid valve coils. Ensure the auxiliary switch is in the OFF position. Check the fuse at the control console and replace it with a 15 amp type AGC fuse if it's blown. Also, inspect for poor wire connections or damaged wires and repair as necessary.
