5.2.Installing/Uninstalling the Antenna
To install the antenna, insert the antenna on the top of the radio and turn it clockwise until it is fastened.
To uninstall the antenna, hold its lower part turn it counter-clockwise to loosen it.
5.3.Installing/Uninstalling Belt Clip
To install the belt clip, aim the two screw holes on the belt clip to the two at the back of the radio, and screw up the
screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
To uninstall the belt clip, loosen the screws and take off the belt clip.
5.4.Disassembling Aluminum-alloy Holder and Components
of Main Part
Step 1 Take down the belt clip.
Step 2 Take down the antenna.
Step 3 Take down the battery.
Step 4 Screw down the two bolts on the top housing of the radio.
Note: If the belt clip has been installed, the bolts have been removed. In this case, just insert a flat-head screwdriver
into the gap between the top housing and aluminum-alloy holder, and rotate counterclockwise the screwdriver to
take off the housing.
Step 5 Screw down the six bolts using a T10 screwdriver, and pull evenly the both ends of the aluminum-alloy
holder to separate it from the top-housing assembly. Unplug the flexible flat cable from the socket. Now the
aluminum-alloy holder and the mainboard are separated from the top housing.
