The illustrated parts lists are meant for identification and
accurate specification of spare parts.
In order to facilitate quick reference to the required parts,
the lists and corresponding figures are divided into the
following groups of parts. :

All parts shown in the figures bear an item number.
Assemblies are indicated by dotted frame with seperate
item number fQr the parts included in that particular
assembly. The parts also bear the same item number
followed by another sequene number (e.g. 27.1, 27.2 etc.,)
Parts List :
The parts are specified by the headings 'Sr. No., Name of
the part, Part No. and Qty.
If an asterisk is used without Part Number. this means that
relevant part cannot be obtained separately.
When for some part no quantity has been given, the
quantity required depends on the compressor type.

10. RECOMMENDED SPARES
10.1 INTRODUCTION
This chapter deals with list of recommended spare parts,
Illustrations showing spare part details and parts numbers
are indicated in this chapter.
An explanation how to order spare parts is included in this
chapter. Recommendations are also indicated for storage
of spare parts. The necessary information related to request
for a field assistance as well as customer training is
included in this chapter.
1 0.2 SPARE PARTS :
List of recommended spares has been included in this
manual. Stocking of these parts enable prompt compressor
maintenance or emergency spares that could otherwise
cause lengthy and unwarranted shutdowns.
10.3 ORDERING OF SPARE PARTS :
When ordering spares or when writing concerned parts,
always include the following information :
1. Equipment Model number and serial number
2. Equipment Order Acceptance (O.A.) number
3. Catalog number from the spare part list or drawing
number
4. Part name/description and quantity required
5. Name and address of the purchaser
6. Complete shipping address and shipping instructions
7. Details of service required (viz., for preventive
maintenance, parts replacement failure, any others.)
8. Date and schedule by which these parts are required.
STORAGE OF SPARE PARTS :
Spare parts usually represent a substantial investment. To
protect this investment following must be observed :
1. Inspect all the parts and coat all the unprotected
surfaces with a rust preventive.
2. Tag or mark the parts so that they can be easily located
and identified.
3. Store all the parts in cool and dry place.
4. Store the parts in bins or neatly on shelves to prevent
damage.
5. Inspect the parts frequently. Clean and recoat the parts if
necessary.
