REMOVING THE DRUM ROTATION SENSOR
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off gas supply to dryer.
3. Remove the top cover from the dryer (see
page 4-2 for the procedure).
4. Unlatch and disconnect the drum rotation
sensor connector from the harness con-
n
ector (see the top right photo).
5. Unlock the tabs from the wire standoff and
pull the standoff out of the bracket.
6. Remove the lower nut from the drum rota-
t
ion sensor and remove the sensor from
the bracket.

REASSEMBLY NOTE: When you reinstall the
drum rotation sensor, position the end of the
sensor 1/4˝ from the drum magnet, and then
t
ighten the mounting nuts.
