INTRODUCTION
Good maintenance and correct use are essenal requirements to guarantee good machine performance and safety. To ensure
constant, normal machine operaon, original spares supplied by the manufacturer must be used any me a part is replaced.
Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the warranty being void and the transfer of all liability to the owner.
The machine you have purchased or hired has undergone compliance tesng followed by pre-delivery servicing, which
guarantees the machine has been commissioned correctly and all the necessary checks and adjustments have been made.
NOTE!! The maintenance operaons outlined in this manual are given for normal use condions. In extreme condions
(extreme temperatures, high humidity, atmospheric polluon, high altudes, etc.), certain maintenance operaons
must be carried out more frequently and special precauons taken; for use in these condions, contact the
manufacturer.
PERIODIC CHECKS
Aer the inial commissioning, the machine must undergo checks by the designated authority (as per UK law) at least once
every six months or in compliance with UK regulaons.
The owner of the truck is the sole party responsible for ensuring all inspecons are carried out.
Look out for any wear which could give rise to hazardous situaons (safety devices, load limiters, lt control devices, leakage
from outriggers, deformaon/warping, welding condion, ghtness of bolts, hoses, electrical connecons, tyre condion, and
excessive mechanical play).
For the machine's fague resistance, in compliance with standard EN 280, reference is made (to err on the side of cauon) to a
heavy-duty use equivalent to a fague dimension of 100,000 cycles.
According to standard EN 13001-3-1 (Table 10), the machine is classied as follows:
- Superstructure: class S1
- Substructure: class S0
Aer a ten-year life cycle, operang at full capacity, a thorough check of the machine/truck assembly should be performed by
an authorised service centre.
NOTE!! If the machine is hired, the user responsible for the machine is required to ensure the condion inspecon and the
suitability check are carried out. The user must check with the hire rm that the general and roune checks and the
commissioning inspecons have actually been carried out.
REPAIRS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Major repairs or operaons on the safety systems or features (related to mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic
systems) and all adjustments must only be performed by an agent authorised by the manufacturer.
Changes made outside the control of the manufacturer are not authorised.
