INTRODUCTION
Good maintenance and correct use are essenal requirements to guarantee good machine performance and safety. To ensure
constant, normal machine operaon, original spares supplied by the manufacturer must be used any me a part is replaced.
Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the warranty being void and the transfer of all liability to the owner.
The machine you have purchased or hired has undergone compliance tesng followed by pre-delivery servicing, which
guarantees the machine has been commissioned correctly and all the necessary checks and adjustments have been made.
NOTE!! The maintenance operaons outlined in this manual are given for normal use condions. In extreme condions
(extreme temperatures, high humidity, atmospheric polluon, high altudes, etc.), certain maintenance operaons
must be carried out more frequently and special precauons taken; for use in these condions, contact the
manufacturer.
PERIODIC CHECKS
Aer the inial commissioning, the machine must undergo checks by the designated authority (as per UK law) at least once
every six months or in compliance with UK regulaons.
The owner of the truck is the sole party responsible for ensuring all inspecons are carried out.
Look out for any wear which could give rise to hazardous situaons (safety devices, load limiters, lt control devices, leakage
from outriggers, deformaon/warping, welding condion, ghtness of bolts, hoses, electrical connecons, tyre condion, and
excessive mechanical play).
For the machine's fague resistance, in compliance with standard EN 280, reference is made (to err on the side of cauon) to a
heavy-duty use equivalent to a fague dimension of 100,000 cycles.
According to standard EN 13001-3-1 (Table 10), the machine is classied as follows:
- Superstructure: class S1
- Substructure: class S0
Aer a ten-year life cycle, operang at full capacity, a thorough check of the machine/truck assembly should be performed by
an authorised service centre.
NOTE!! If the machine is hired, the user responsible for the machine is required to ensure the condion inspecon and the
suitability check are carried out. The user must check with the hire rm that the general and roune checks and the
commissioning inspecons have actually been carried out.
REPAIRS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Major repairs or operaons on the safety systems or features (related to mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic
systems) and all adjustments must only be performed by an agent authorised by the manufacturer.
Changes made outside the control of the manufacturer are not authorised.
