5.2 MAINTENANCE SAFETY NOTICES
When performing maintenance;
• Check that there are no unauthorised personnel in the manoeuvring area (maintenance sta only).
• Always follow the procedures specied for maintenance and technical assistance.
• For all repairs, use original spare parts cered by the manufacturer. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to serious
risks for machine safety and stability.
• For more demanding maintenance operaons requiring removal of one or more machine components, please contact
the manufacturer for specic recommendaons to avoid hazardous situaons.
• Aer any parts relang to the liing structure or essenal machine assemblies are ed or removed, stac and dynamic
tests must be carried out before the machine is put back into use.
• Any tesng operaons carried out on the customer's premises must always be performed by trained personnel.
• Perform the operaons with a load weighing the same as the Safe Working Load permied on the work plaorm.
• Do not allow unauthorised persons to work on the machine. Only qualied, competent sta may do so and always in
accordance with the safety instrucons concerning personal and environmental protecon.
• Do not carry out any work without prior authorisaon.
• All maintenance operaons not provided for in this chapter must be carried out by authorised, qualied maintenance
personnel.
• Disconnect all power supplies and depressurise the hydraulic system every me you perform any maintenance.
• The work plaorm must be fully closed and lowered to the ground. If this is not possible, place props or stops to
prevent sudden machine movements.
• Do not carry out welding, grinding, or boring as this could weaken the machine's structure.
• Do not remove the seals on the valves
• At the end of any maintenance work, before operang the machine, make sure that no tools or unrelated items have
been accidentally le on the machine.
