INFORMATION
KRONE recommends 3.5 – 4 film layers for optimum chamber film wrapping. The minimum
required film layers depend on the condition of the crops.
With round bales whose diameter measures more than 130cm and/or very dry or very wet
crops, KRONE recommends at least one additional film layer.
7.10 Menu 2 "Number of twine layers" (twine tying)
This menu is used to set
how many twine layers are to be tied around the round bale at the start of twine tying before
the twine guide slide starts up and
how many twine layers are to be tied around the round bale at the end of twine tying before
the twine is cut off.
When setting the number of twine layers around the entire round bale, see chapter Operation,
Twine tying, "Setting the number of twine layers".
