and axially by thrust bearings (rolling element bearings) (5); below the soleplate, it is
only supported radially by plain bearings (2).
Sealing ▪ The pump is sealed with a shaft seal (either a standardised single or double
mechanical seal or a gland packing).

3) Surface sound pressure level as per ISO3744 and EN12639 valid for pump operation in the Q/Qopt=0.8-1.1 range and for
non-cavitating operation.If noise levels are to be guaranteed: Add +3dB for measuring and constructional tolerance.
4) Increase for 60Hz operation: 3500rpm +3dB, 1750rpm +1dB, 1160rpm ±0dB
