The modular, plug-on LON interface field bus
module is connected to an available, on-site
LON network field bus module. The LON
interface field bus module is equipped with
an FTT-10A transceiver (Free Topology
Transceiver).
The following parameters can be transferred,
for example:
Start, pump status, stop, pump fault,
setpoint, operating hours, actual value,
energy consumption, speed, shaft power,
pressure (if a sensor is connected)
Further details and parameters can be found
in the LON field bus module literature for
PumpDrive; refer to the Product Catalogue
on the KSB web site. The LON literature is
based on the LONMARK Functional Profile
Pump Controller V 0.93 - SFPTpumpController
standard. HVAC Profile 1.0 can also be
supported if required. The LON interface
field bus module is commissioned on site.
Note: Every PumpDrive used as a single-pump
drive can be monitored or controlled (open
and closed loop) by an LON field bus module.
A multiple pump configuration can only be
monitored; each PumpDrive then needs to be
equipped with an LON field bus module.

connected to an available, on-site Profibus
network. The Profibus module corresponds to
a Profibus DPV0 slave.
