7 Commissioning/shutdown
Ensure that the following requirements are met prior to commissioning:
The pump has been vented and primed with the fluid to be handled.
Flow through the pump is in the design direction specified in order to avoid
generator operation of PumpDrive.
A sudden start-up of the motor or pump set does not result in personal injury or
damage to machinery.
No capacitive loads, for example for reactive current compensation, are
connected to the outputs of the device.
The mains voltage is in the range approved for PumpDrive.
PumpDrive has been properly connected to the power supply. (Section 5.4 Page
20)
All enable and start commands that start PumpDrive are deactivated (digital
input 1 for single-pump operation and digital inputs 1 and 2 for multiple pump
operation).
No voltage is applied to the power supply module of PumpDrive.
PumpDrive or the pump set must not be loaded above the permissible nominal
power.
If PumpDrive is going to be used in multiple pump operation, note (Section
7.1.3 Page 62) prior to commissioning.

7.1.1.1 Setting motor parameters
Motor-mounted PumpDrive model:
The motor parameters have been set at the factory.
Cabinet-mounted or wall-mounted PumpDrive model:
The factory-set motor parameters must be compared with the data provided on the
motor rating plate and adjusted, if required.
