5.4.3.3.1 Mounting ferrite cores
Depending on the size of PumpDrive, 1 to 3 ferrite cores must be mounted to the
PumpDrive power cable in order to meet the requirements of the relevant EMC
Directive or product standard in conjunction with KSB/Siemens or KSB SuPremE
motors.

✓ Ferrite cores are fitted to the PumpDrive cable entry for transport. Ferrites are
separated before cable entry.
1. Position the ferrite cores around the power cable near the PumpDrive terminals
and close them by pressing the upper and lower parts together.
2. For PumpDrives of power ratings 4.0 to 7.5 kW, loop the power cable through
the supplied ferrite core twice.
