» If the chain guide is loose:
– Tighten the screws on the chain guide.

Finishing work
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 42)

» If the frame shows signs of damage, cracking, or deforma-
tion:
– Change the frame.
Guideline
Repairs on the frame are not permitted.

» If the link fork shows signs of damage, cracking, or defor-
mation:
– Change the link fork.

Always replace a damaged link fork. Repairing
the link fork is not authorized by KTM.
