itgoesintoclipping.

LPnFreqareshelvingfrequenciesforonepolelowpassfi ltersoneachofthedistortionstages.
LP0þFreqhandlestheinitiallowpasspriortothefirstdistortionstage.Theotherlowpass
controlsfollowtheirrespectivedistortionstages.Rangeis16to25088Hz.

AnalgorithmthatincludesRotatingSpeakersbreaksthesignalintotwofrequencybands,
“rotates”eachbandseparatelythroughavirtualspeaker,andthencombinestheoutputswitha
pairofvirtual“microphones”whoseanglerelativetothespeakersisadjustable.Anumberof
verysophisticatedparametershavebeenincludedinthe
RotatingSpeakersalgorithm,togive
theeffectagreatdegreeofrealism.Becauseofthecomplexityofthealgorithms,youmightwant
toapproachanyparametersthatseemalittleobscuretoyouwithcaution.
RotoInOutengagesorbypassestherotaryspeakereffect.
Therearefourvirtualmicrophones,withtwo
eachonthewoofer(LoMicAandLoMicB)and
onthetweeter(HiMicAandHiMicB).Eachmicrophonehas:
Pos(position),theangleofthemicrophonefromthefrontofthevirtualspeaker,from‐180to
180degrees;
Lvl(level)from0to100%;and
Pan,theleft/right
panningofthemicrophone’soutput,from‐100%(fullleft)to100%(fullright).
Otherparameters:
LoBeamWandHiBeamWsettheacousticradiationpatterns(“beamwidth”)ofthetwo
driversintherotatingspeaker.Ifyouimaginelookingdownontherotatingspeaker,thisisthe
anglebetween
the‐6dBlevelsofthebeam.Therangeisfrom45°to360°.At 3 60°,the driveris
omnidirectional.
Xover(Crossover)isthefrequencyatwhichhighandlowfrequencybandsaresplitandsentto
separaterotatingdrivers.Therangeis16to25088Hz.
LoGainandHiGain
arethegainsofthesignalpassingthroughtherotatingwooferortweeter,
respectively.TherangeisOff/79.0to24.0dB.
LoSizeandHiSizearetheeffectivesizes(radiusofrotation)oftherotatingspeakersin
millimeters.ThisaffectstheamountofDopplershiftorvibratoofthe
lowfrequencysignal.The
rangeis0to250mm.
LoTremandHiTremcontrolthedepthoftremolo(amplitudemodulation)ofthesignals.Itis
