ThetoplineoftheProgrammodeentry‐levelpageshowsyourmodelocation,thepresentMIDI
transposition,theMIDIbank nameandMIDIprogramnumberofthehighlighted program,and
thecurrentMIDIchannel.
TheinfoboxattheleftoftheProgrammodepagegivesyouinformationaboutthe
current
program.Generally,theinfoboxshowsthekeymapassignedtoeachlayer.Thelinebeneaththe
nameofthekeymapindicatesthekeyboard rangeofthatlayer.Inthediagramabove,for
example,there’sonelayerthatextendsfromC0toC8—thedefaultrange.Therepresentationof
these
layerrangesisapproximate;they’reintendedtoletyouknowifyouhavealayered
keyboard(linesoverlapping)orasplitkeyboard(linesnotoverlapping).Theinfoboxcan
displayuptofourlayersatatime.Ifthecurrentprogramhasmorethanfourlayers,youcan
viewtheir
keymapsbypressingandholdingdowntheEnterbuttonandscrollingwiththe
Chan/Layerbuttons.
ForKB3programs,theinfoboxshowsthekeymapusedfortheuppertonewheels.
Note:ForVA S T layersusingKVAoscillators,theinfoboxmayormaynotshowthenameoftheoscillator
beingused.

Control Setup
TheControlSetupdefineswhatthePC3K’sphysicalcontrollers(wheels,sliders,pedals,etc.)do
whileyou’ reinProg rammode.It’saconvenientwaytoapplythecontrollerassignmentsinyour
setupsglobally.JustchooseanexistingsetuptobetheControlSetupusingtheControlSetup
parameterontheMIDImodeTRANSMIT
page.
Whileyou’reinProgrammode,manyofthecontrollerassignmentsforZone1oftheControl
Setupalsoapplytotheprogramsyouplay(thisistrueforMIDIcontrolmessagesaswell,unless
youhaveturnedoffMIDIcontrol).
