A.C. GENERATOR INSPECTION
Disconnect the A.C. generator connector.
Check the continuity between the yellow
wires and ground.
There should be continuity between the
yellow wires and no continuity between
each yellow wire and ground.
Resistance (at 20°C):
Yellow～Yellow 1.6～2.5Ω
A.C. GENERATOR/FLYWHEEL
REMOVAL
Remove the right crankcase cover. (Refer to
the “WATER PUMP SHAFT REMOVAL”
section in the chapter 12)
Remove the pulser coil screws and then
remove the A.C. generator wire set plate.
Remove the A.C. generator bolts and then
remove A.C. generator and pulser coil from
right crankcase cover.
Remove the oil through guide and spring.

This test can be made without removing
the stator from the engine.

stator, be careful not to damage them to
avoid shorted or broken wire.
