REMOVAL
Drain transmission gear oil into a clean
container. (Refer to the “TRANSMISSION
OIL REPLACEMENT” section in the chapter
3)
Remove the engine assembly (Refer to the
“ENGINE REMOVAL” section in the
chapter 6) or remove the rear swingarm (page
15-21).
Loosen the joint boot band screw and remove
the joint boot from the secondary driven
bevel gear.
Remove the four bolts and secondary driven
bevel gear assembly.
