Checking/clearing the maintenance count
Description
Displays, clears and changes the maintenance count.
Purpose
To check the maintenance count. Also to clear the count during maintenance service.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item using the exposure adjustment keys.
Clearing
1. Light exp. 3.
2. Press the start key. The count is cleared, and the indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.
Setting
1. Change the count using the numeric or zoom +/- keys.
2. Press the start key. The count is set, and the indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.

Setting the destination
Description
Switches the operations and screens of the machine according to the destination.
Purpose
To return the destination setting to its default setting after initializing the backup RAM by running maintenance
item U020.
Method
Press the start key.
Setting
1. Select the destination using the zoom +/- keys.
2. Press the start key. The setting is set, and the machine automatically returns to the same status as
when the power is turned on.
Completion
To exit this maintenance item without changing the current count, press the stop/clear key. The indication for
selecting a maintenance item No. appears.
Supplement
The specified initial settings are provided according to the destinations in the maintenance items below. To
change the initial settings in those items, be sure to run maintenance item U021 after changing the destina-
tion.
