Clearing paper jams
Misfeed in the paper feed section
Misfeed in one of the drawers [cassettes] - No. 1
through No. 4
The screens shown below indicate that there is a misfeed in one of
the drawers [cassettes]. Perform the following procedure to remove
the jammed paper.

* Drawers [cassettes] No.2 and No.4 refer to the optional Paper
Feeder.

Open the right cover of the specified paper feeder.

Taking care not to tear the jammed paper, pull it from the
copier.
NOTES
• If the paper tears, remove all of the remaining pieces
from inside the copier.
• If the paper is jammed below the primary paper guide,
raise the primary paper guide and pull the paper out.

Pull out the drawer [cassette] that is currently being used.
Paper misfeed.

1. Open Right Side Cover of drawer 2.
Remove paper if inside.
2. Pull out drawer 1.
3. Remove paper.
4. Close paper drawer.
Close Cover.
Paper misfeed.

1. Open right cover 2.
Remove paper if inside.
2. Pull out paper cassette 1.
3. Remove paper.
4. Close paper cassette.
Close cover.
