Misfeed in the paper conveyor unit
If a misfeed occurs in the paper conveyor unit, perform the
following procedure to remove the jammed paper.

Grasping the paper conveyor unit handle, pull it out of the
copier.

Taking care not to tear the jammed paper, pull it from the
paper conveyor unit.
NOTES
• If the paper tears, remove all of the remaining pieces
from inside the paper conveyor unit.
• If edge of the paper inside the paper conveyor unit is
soiled, lift the paper straight up to remove it.

Pull the green lever on the bottom of the paper conveyor
unit in the direction indicated by the arrow, and then open
right cover 1.

Taking care not to tear the jammed paper, pull it from the
copier.
NOTE
If the paper tears, remove all of the remaining pieces from
inside the paper conveyor unit.
Paper misfeed.
JAM
1. Pull out transfer unit,
Remove paper.
2. Open Right Side Cover of drawer 1.
Remove paper.
3. Close Cover.
Close transfer unit.
Paper misfeed.
JAM
1. Pull out transfer unit,
Remove paper.
2. Open right cover 1.
Remove paper.
3. Close cover.
Close transfer unit.
