5.8 Global Events Tab
This is the other tab available in Amplifier Global View.
It provides an Event Log which lists all warnings, faults,
and user actions that have occurred in all devices on
the network since the DLC started. In addition, it will
contain the events that can be read from each PLM’s
internal log covering the 4 hours prior to starting the
DLC PLM Edition software. Various filter options are
available for displaying a user-definable subset of the
log.
Note that the data for the most recent event is repeated
in the separate horizontal pane at the bottom of the
table.
5.8.1 Log Entities
Seven items of information per event are displayed
in the log in tabular form, as follows:
Event ▸ – The Event column displays any system
fault or warning notifications that occur. Icons
shown below reference the source of the
notification; icons change color, from yellow
(warning) to red (fault) to indicate severity.
