the user to follow
recommended
maintenance
procedures. It also
emphasizes the use
of distilled water.
WEEE label
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) directive
The WEEE label signifies that this instrument should
not be disposed of in the trash. Return it to the
manufacturer for recycle or ecological disposal.
Emergency Off label
The Emergency Off label identifies the EMO (Emergency
M
otion Off) switch, which is used in an emergency to
shut down all mechanical activity in the Echo liquid
handler. There are two Emergency Off switches, one on
the front panel and one on the rear panel of the Echo
liquid handler.
