6.1 Maintenance schedule
Echo user maintenance consists of the following:
 Daily maintenance
 Echo maintenance alerts
 Scheduled preventive maintenance
 Every two weeks
 Every month
 Every six months
6.1.1 Daily maintenance
Perform the following checks once a day:

Maintenance Task Procedure
 Check the coupling fluid bottle level daily.
• If the coupling fluid level is at 350 mL or less,
clean and refill the coupling fluid bottle and
add algaecide.

• If the coupling fluid is cloudy, clean and refill
the coupling fluid bottle and add algaecide.

• Check the waste bottle daily (older Echo
systems only). Empty it if it is greater than
half full.
