IEC 61162 Multiple talkers and multiple listeners is a series of protocol definitions supporting both RS-422
and Ethernet for transporting its messages.
LT-3100 system currently supports IEC 61162 over RS-422 only but is prepared for future support of IEC
61162 over Ethernet. Certification of compliance with IEC 61162-450 and IEC 61162-460 has been obtained
and thus the LT-3100 system is permitted to be connected to an IEC 61162 Ethernet network, though none
of their functions are supported.
ONF network node
The LT-3100 system is classified as an ONF network node by IEC 61162 using the following protocols: DHCP,
IPv4, IPv4LL, UDP, TCP, SIP, RTP, HTTP, HTTPS.
