NAC HEAT switches energize both naceUe heat
and
engine inlet air

pressure and temperature sensor heat. If installed, the NAC HEAT ON light

HEAT
lights
will
illuminate anytime a NAC
HEAT
switch is
set
On.

and

79-4, the NAC HEAT switches also energize en-
gine anti-ice.

To prevent damage
to
the
engine inlet sensor heating
el-
ement, naceUe heat operation should
be
limited to
30
seconds
if
the engine is
not
running.
Wumination of
the
L
or
R ENG ICE lights with
the
NAC
HEAT
switches
On
indicates
that
bleed air pres-
sure
is not being applied
to
the
naceUe
heat
anti-ice
system
due
to
a malfunction.
Wumination of
the
L
or
R ENG ICE lights with
the
NAC
HEAT
switches OFF indicates
that
bleed air
pressure
is
being applied
to
the
naceUe
heat
system
due
to
a malfunction.
