AUDIO
CONTROL SYSTEM PANEL (CONT)
SPKR/PHONE-PH-EMER SWITCH
1. SPKR/PHONE Position - When the switch is in this position and
any mixer switch is on, audio
is
fed to the headphones and cockpit
speaker.
2.
PH
Position - When the switch is
in
this position and any mixer
switch is on, audio
is fed to
the
headphones only.
3.
EMER
Position - When the switch is in this position, audio
is
fed
directly into the headphones, bypassing
all
AUDIO CONTROL
Panel amplifiers.
MIXER
SWITCHES
Ten mixer switches on the audio control panel
are
labeled and perform the
following functions:
1. VHF 1 and VHF 2 Switches - When in
the
On
(up)
position, pro-
vide audio from the VHF 1 and VHF 2 transceivers respectively.
2.
NAV
1 and
NAV
2 Switches - When in
the
On
(up)
position, pro-
vide audio from the
NAV
1
and
NAV
2 receivers respectively.
3.
ADF 1 and
ADF
2 Switches - These are three position switches.
The
PASS (center) position provides audio
to
the passenger speaker
when the
PASS
SPKR-VOL ADJ OFF switch
is
in the
PASS
SPKR
position. The up position provides headphone and cockpit speaker
audio only. When
in
the
up
position, these switches provide audio
from
the
ADF
1 and ADF 2 receivers respectively. The up position
is
the normal mixer function.
4.
DME
Switch - When in the
On
(up)
position, provides audio iden-
tification signals from the
DME
receiver.
NOTE~
On aircraft equipped with dual DME, the number 1
-r
DME
audio
will
be
provided by
the
pilot's Audio Control
Panel and
the
number 2
DME
audio
will
be provided by
the copilot's Audio Control Panel.
5.
MKR
Switch - When in the
On
{up}
position, provides "marker"
audio from the marker beacon receiver.
6. HF
Switch - When in the
On
{up}
position, provides audio from
HF transceiver
{if
installed}.
