4.2 Adjust the Rotor Angle
Make sure the height adjustment of the tines is not too low. This results in an
excessive load and causes the tines to wear or break.
1.
Make sure:
1. The Lotus is connected to the tractor (page 3-1).
2. The Lotus is in the working position (page 3-4).
3. The hydraulic system is set to the floating position.
2. Remove the parking jack from the storage support (fig. 5, page 3-2).
3. Install the parking jack underneath the frame of the transport wheel.
4. Turn the winding handle of the parking clockwise to lift transport wheel
from the ground.
5. On both sides:
1. Remove the five bolts from the transport wheel assembly.
2. Adjust the transport wheel assembly to the applicable height.
3. Install the five bolts.
6. Make sure the tines slightly touch the ground and the crop is picked
correctly.
7. Make sure the tines touch the ground over a distance of approximately
25 cm.
8. If necessary:
Adjust the height of the rotor wheels (page 4-4).
