3.4 Move the Lotus from the transport position to the working
position
Make sure there are no persons in the area when you move the Lotus
to the working position.
Always switch off the tractor engine before you leave the tractor cab.
Procedure
1. Make sure all
rotor wheels (see "Adjust the height of the rotor
wheels" on page 4‑2) are set to the same position.
2. Position (E) (see "Adjust the height of the rotor wheels" on page 4‑
2) is recommended when working with heavy and long crops.
Position (B) (see "Adjust the height of the rotor wheels" on page 4‑
2) is recommended when working with light and short crops or
windy conditions.
3. Put the double acting hydraulic tractor valve in the lift position to relief
the hook.
4. Pull the control cord from the tractor cab to disengage the locking
hook.
5. Operate the tractor hydraulic system to lower the two outer rotor
segments to the B-position (Figure 16, page 3‑8).
6. Remove pin of the stabilo steering device and put the pin in the
tophole of the headstock:
