4.4 Adjust the Width of the Windrowing Cages
4.4.1 Adjust the Windrowing Cages
The Windrowing Cages working width can be adjusted to aproximatley 1.0 m
(3.28 ft) or 1.15 m (3.77 ft.). For a 1.0 m (3.28 ft.) working width, the
attachment frames for the windrowing cages must be fitted to the machine in
the front position. For a 1.15 m (3.77 ft.) working width and also in order to
put the windrowing cages in a wider position, an extension plate-kit must be
used.
Fold up the rear Warning Signs before installing the Windrowing Cages
Procedure
1. Instal the Windrowing Cages to the machine and fold them down.
2.
Secure the Windrowing Cages and use the support rod. Use hole (A)
(Figure 26, page 4‑5) if the attachment frames are fitted to the
machine in the front position, and hole (B) (Figure 26, page 4‑5) if
they are fitted in the back position.
