5.2.5 Replace the gearbox grease
Requirements:
• Shell Gadus S2 V220-AC0
•
Loctite 270
1. Remove the protection cover (1) and the hose clamp (2).
2. Remove the bolts (3) bearing house (4) and the filling plates (5) from
the gearbox.
3. Remove the old grease from the gearbox.
4. Fill the gearbox (6) with 0.36 kg of Shell Gadus S2 V220-AC0.
5. Put Loctite 270 on the cover bolts (3).
6. Install the filling plates (5) the bearing house (4) and the bolts (3) on
the gearbox.
7. Put the hose clamp and the protection cover on the bearing house.
8. Dispose of the old grease as specified by local regulations.
