1.DownloadthedriverforEthernetcardfromtheLenovoSupportWebsite.Ifthedriverisacompressed

ﬁle,unzipittoafolder.Themostup-to-datedevicedriversforvariousservermodelsarealways

availablefordownloadontheLenovoSupportWebsiteat:

http://www.lenovo.com/drivers

2.CopythefolderthatcontainsthedrivertoaUSBstoragedeviceandconnecttheUSBstoragedeviceto

yourserver.

3.Logintotheoperatingsystem.

4.IntheDeviceManagerwindow,right-clicktheEthernetcardwhichyouwanttoinstalldriversfor.

5.ClickUpdateDriverSoftware➙Browsemycomputerfordriversoftware.

6.Gotothefolderwherethedriverisstored,clickOK,andthenclickNext.Theinstallationbegins.

Note:Ifprompted,selectAlwaystrustsoftwarefromQlogicCorporationandclickInstall.

7.Whentheinstallationiscompleted,clickClose.

IfyourserverisinstalledwithanLSI9240-8orLSI9260-8IRAIDcardandyouwanttoinstallthedriver

foranEthernetcard,dothefollowing:

1.LogintotheoperatingsystemandinserttheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDintotheopticaldrive.The

ThinkServerEasyStartupDVDrunsautomatically.

Note:IftheDVDdoesnotrunautomatically,clickRunlaunch.exeintheAutoPlaywindow.

2.Readthelicenseterms,andclickAccept.ThewelcomeorThinkServerEasyStartupwindowis

displayed.

3.ClickDriversInstall.

4.SelectyourservermodelfromtheServerModeldrop-downlistbox,theoperatingsystemfromthe

OperatingSystemdrop-downlistbox,andthedriverfromtheSelectaDriverdrop-downlistbox.

5.ClickInstalltoinstallthedriver.
