7.IfyouwanttoinstallthedriverfortheonboardSATAsoftwareRAIDorinstalledRAIDcard,dothe
following:
a.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallWindows?”window,clickLoaddriver.
b.ConnecttheUSBstoragedevicethatcontainsthedrivertoyourserver,andthenbrowsetothe
folderwherethedriverisstored.
c.ClickOK.The“Selectthedrivertoinstall”windowsisdisplayed.
d.SelectHidedriversthataren’tcompatiblewiththiscomputer’shardware,andthenselectthe
driverthatyouwanttoinstallonyourserver.ClickNext.
8.Inthe“WheredoyouwanttoinstallHyper–VServer?”window,clickNew.
9.Typetheamountofspace(inMB),andthenclickApply.
10.Inthe“MicrosoftHyper-VServerSetup”window,clickOK.
11.Ensurethatthedrivepartitioniscorrect,andthenclickNext.Theinstallationbegins.
Note:Y ourserverwillrestartseveraltimesduringtheinstallation.
12.WhentheAdministratorwindowisdisplayed,clickOKandsetanadministratorpassword.
13.PressEnter.WhenthemessageYourpasswordhasbeenchangedisdisplayed,clickOKtologinto
theoperatingsystem.
Installingthedriverforthechipset
Toinstallthedriverforthechipset,dothefollowing:
1.CopythedriverforthechipsetfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDthatcomeswithyourservertoa
USBstoragedevice.ConnecttheUSBstoragedevicetoyourserver.
2.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:

Pnputil–i–a*.inf
Note:Inthecommandlines,e:representsthedriveletteroftheUSBstoragedeviceand
Chipsetwindows\Win7representsthesubdirectorywhereyourdriverislocated.
3.ClickInstall.Theinstallationbegins.
4.Restartyourserveraftertheinstallationiscompleted.
Installingthedriverforanonboardgraphicscard
Toinstallthedriverforanonboardgraphicscard,dothefollowing:
1.CopythedriverfortheonboardgraphicscardfromtheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDthatcomeswith
yourservertoaUSBstoragedevice.ConnecttheUSBstoragedevicetoyourserver.
2.Usethefollowingcommandstoinstallthedriver:
