7 Turn printer off. Remove
paper guide (C) assembly.

continuity that connects
DCN16 pins 7, 8, and 9 to
paper empty sensor. Also
check for shorted pins. Is
cable okay?
Replace paper
guide (C)

Replace cable.
8 Touch positive lead to
DCN13 pin 9 and pin 11 to
ensure 5 VDC is being
supplied to I/O board. Is 5
VDC present?
Replace I/O
board. See “I/O
board removal”
on page 4-70.
Go to step 9.
9 Check cable continuity
between LVPS ACN1 and I/
O board DCN13. Also
check for shorted pins. Is
cable okay?
Replace LVPS.
