Set up the printer

Carefully place the printer on
top of the 500-sheet drawer.
Be sure to align all four corners on
the bottom of the printer with the
corners on the top of the drawer.
Attaching the locking clips
The instructions that begin on page
page 21 explain how to attach the lock-
ing clips that secure tray 2 to tray 3. The
procedure requires a Phillips
screwdriver.
Warning!
Failure to secure the trays
with the locking clips could affect the
position of the printed image on the
page, and could result in paper feeding
problems.
Be sure to attach all of the
locking clips
