6.6.1 Li-Ion Battery Connection

Note: Please be careful of any electric shock or chemical hazards. For batteries without a built-in
DC breaker, make sure that an external DC breaker (≥125A) connected.
• The battery used with the inverter shall be approved by the inverter manufacturer. This
inverter can only be connected with LIVOLTEK or Pylontech low-voltage lithium
batteries with nominal voltage from 40V to 60V now. If you choose other lithium
batteries, please consult LIVOLTEK for compatibility. Otherwise, the inverter will not
work normally.
• For safe operation and compliance, a two-pole DC circuit breaker with overcurrent
protection should be installed between the inverter and the battery.
• If you do not have battery now, you can float BAT terminal, and this hybrid inverter will
only work like a PV inverter.
