STEP 17. ATTACH ELECTRICAL
CONNECTOR
a. Check that Pin #4 (A) in the tractor receptacle
is not constantly energized - see your tractor
operator’s manual, and remove the appropriate
fuse if required.
IMPORTANT
Older model tractors will have Pin #4 (A)
energized as an accessory circuit. The
R85 mower conditioner uses this pin
position (B) for brake lights.
b. Connect the mower conditioner wiring harness
connector (C) to tractor. The connector is
designed to fit tractors equipped with a round
7-pin receptacle (SAE J560).
