Tyre wear
The tyres are fitted with Tread Wear Indicators (TWIs) around the
circumference of the tyre. Check the tread wear on the tyres before
riding.
WARNING: Failure to check the tyres for wear and damage
before riding could result in an accident, causing injury or
death.
As tyres wear, they become more susceptible to a puncture.
WARNING: If the tyre or the inner tube sustains a puncture,
the tyre and inner tube must be replaced. A repaired tyre or
inner tube can lead to instability and result in an accident,
causing injury or death.
If a tyre is approximately 90% worn, it is recommended that the tyre is
replaced before the minimum tread depth is reached.
WARNING: Riding the motorcycle with excessively worn tyres
is hazardous and will aect the handling, stability and road
grip. This can lead to loss of control and an accident, causing
injury or death.
Never let the tyres wear to less than the recommended minimum
tread depth of 1 mm.
