FUSES
The fuse box is located inside the storage compartment.
WARNING: Always replace blown fuses with a specified
rated new fuse. Fuse ratings can also be found on top of the
fuse box. Failure to observe this could damage the system or
cause a fire, potentially resulting in injury or death. For further
information, see Fuse identification on page 92.
WARNING: Never use a fuse of a higher rating than that
specified. Doing so could lead to an electrical problem and
result in damage, loss of control of the motorcycle and/or an
accident. For further information, see Fuse identification on
page 92.
There is a 15 amp main fuse connected to the 12-volt battery’s
positive terminal.
If electrical systems become inoperable, it is advised to check the fuse
that protects that particular electrical circuit. Use the identification
table to establish which fuse has blown. The fuse identification
numbers correspond to those printed on the fuse box cover. For
further information, see Fuse identification on page 92.
