17 X_SoftLimt-
• Encoder pulse count exceeds the value set by the software; the distance from the motor moving
backward does not match the distance from encoder.
• Encoder cap is aging and can't read the encoder disc anymore.
1. Restart the instrument.
2. Clean encoder disc.
3. Check cables CBL-M002 (encoder signal) and Power CBL-M001.
4. Check encoder cap. Open it and see if the red LED inside is on. If it is off, ecoder needs to be
replaced.
5. Replace PCB.
18 X_Encoder no change
• No signal response from the Encoder.
1. Check PLC X10 terminal – make sure the cable(CBL-0032) is not loose.
2. Check if encoder is functioning properly.
3. Clean encoder disc.
4. Check encoder cap. Open it and see if the red LED inside is on. If the light is off Encoder needs to be
replaced.
19 X_Position Over Pulse
• The position coordinate greatly differs from the Encoder coordinate.
1. Check PLC X1000 terminal – make sure the cable(CBL-0032) is not loose.
2. Check motor cables (M001, M002) – if connections are loose or cables are damaged motor will
lose power and trigger an error.
3. Clean encoder disc.
4. Check X-axis calibration.
