Saving Battery Power
• Battery operated M1100 scales are equipped with a power saving
feature that puts the scale in “power down mode” when it has been
inactive for 30 minutes. In power down mode, the batteries will last
up to one year.
• You can put the scale manually in power down mode by pressing the
MENU key and the DOWN arrow
simultaneously.
• This feature helps preserve the batteries, but you should nevertheless
remove the batteries if the scale is not to be used for an extended
period of time (more than a couple of months).

while the scale is in power down mode.
To bring the scale back from power down mode

Press any key on the keyboard.
Note:
Set switch
to ON, if you do not wish to use the power down
feature.
