Removing / replacing a broken cold trap
The carrier gas supply and compressed air to
the instrument and the
instrument itself must
be turned off before starting.
Remove the visible end of the cold trap using the
method described in Section 3.2
Unscrew the 2 screws securing the front panel.
Remove the front panel.
Slide the side panels towards the front of
instrument then lift away to remove.
Remove the air lines that supply the heated valve by
pulling the white tube while pressing the black lip of
the connector.
Remove the split tube and any sample tubes /
interconnects.
