2. INTRODUCTION
2.1 General description
I-Wave2/Wave2 is a rechargeable handle for bench manual dimensional measurement
systems, equipped with a Wireless Bluetooth
®
antenna and integrated display for the
visualization of the measure.
The main features of the product are:
 1.8 "TFT display with automatic orientation;
 Microprocessor inside the handle for direct measurement processing;
 Awakening from standby and rotation display via accelerometer;
 Universal system able to accommodate:
I-Wave2
mechanical gauge head M10, M6 M3.5 or with rapid
replacement via Direct Lock or Star Lock.
Wave2
EBG electronic gauge head, pencil probes or other sensors.
 Instant re-tooling for the measure of internal, external or depth features;
 Double magnetic acquisition buttons to guarantee maximum ergonomics;
 Wireless connection with the PC via Bluetooth
®
technology;
 Simultaneous display of the measurement on the display or on a PC screen;
 Pressing a button the measurement is stored on the PC for statistical purposes;

Seamless synchronization with the gauge computer
;
 Ready2Gauge Application (R2G) available for Windows, Android and iOS
operating systems, which allows to program, save and export data.

Possibility to operate in Stand-Alone mode
, and without the need to have a PC
connected;
 Degree of protection: IP67 (I-Wave2), IP65 (Wave2);
 Equipped with a fast-charging Li-lon battery with wireless power technology;
 Quick charge base designed to work 24/7;
 Possibility to connect to any commercial PC, disengaging itself then by Marposs
devices as Merlin and E9066;
 The technology employed in the buttons ensures IP67 rating.
