exchangeofbroadcastmessages,evenwhenTCP/IPnetworkingparametersarenotconfiguredonthesame
network.
OncetheGMRhasavalidnetworkconfigurationandtheIPaddressoftheunitisknown,
itcanalsobeaccessed
andconfiguredviaSSHorTelnetbycomputersinthesamenetwork.

GMRmodelshaveLEDsonthefrontpaneltoshowstatus.
TheleftmostyellowLED(labeledPTPforPrecisionTimeProtocol,IEEE1588)flashesbrieflywitheveryPTPdelay
request(PTPisanoptionalfeature).
ThecenteryellowLED(labeled:NTPforNetworkTimeProtocol)flashesbrieflywithevery
NTPrequest.
TherightmostgreenLED(labeled:LockorSync)blinkstwicepersecondwhenthedeviceisnotlockedtoa
reference,andoncepersecondwhensyncedtoanexternalreferencesuchasGPS,PTP,TimeCode,asNTP.
