The following are the recommended and mandatory acvies for correct operaon of the unit. The mandatory acvies must be carried out
by an authorised customer service which issues a corresponding cercate. Failure to comply with these acvies will entail forfeiture of the
warranty and could considerably shorten the service life of your product.

Filling the water circuit x
Presence of bubbles in the water circuit. x
Check the proper working of the safety and control devices.. x
Check that there are no oil leaks from the compressor. x
Check if there is a possible water leakage from the water circuit x
Check that the ow switch works properly. x
Check that the crankcase heaters are powered and running. x
Clean the metal lters of the water circuit. x
Clean the nned coil with compressed air or water jet. x
Check that the electric terminals both inside the electric panel and in the terminal blocks of the compressor are
well ghtened.
x
Tightening of plumbing connecons. x
Check xing and balancing of the fans. x
Clean the air lters in the electrical panel or replace them if necessary.(when present) x
Correct electrical voltage and phase imbalance (without load and under load). x
Correct absorpon. x
Check the refrigerant charge and eventual refrigerant leaks. x
Check the operang pressure, superheang and sub-cooling. x
Circulaon pump eciency. x
If the unit is to be out of service for a long period, drain the water from the pipes and the heat exchanger. This
operaon is indispensable if, during the shutdown period, ambient temperatures are expected to be below the
freezing point of the uid used.

Check the presence of corrosion/ossidaon x
Check panel fastening. x
Check the water quality (see chapter Characteriscs of the system water) and the possible concentraon of
glycol
x
Check the pressure drop of any lter driers on the liquid line. x
Check the hydronic side safety valve x
CLEANING THE FINNED COIL
To correctly clean the coil, follow the instrucons below:
• Remove any supercial lth. Debris such as leaves, bres etc. must be removed without a vacuum cleaner (use a brush or another so tool
carefully avoiding scratching with metal or abrasive parts). If you use compressed air, pay aenon to keep the air ow perpendicular to the
surface of the coil in order not to bend the aluminium ns. Pay aenon not to bend the ns with the nozzle of the compressed air lance.
• Rinse. Rinse with water. It is possible to use chemical substances (specic detergents for nned coils). Rinse the coils by leng the water run
inside each individual passage of the ns, unl they are perfectly clean. Pay aenon to direct the water jet perpendicular to the surface
of the coil in order not to bend the aluminium ns. Do not strike the coil with the water hose. Apply your thumb at the end of the hose to
increase the pressure of the water jet instead of using specic nozzles which could damage the coil..
The an-corrosion treatment applied to the nned coils (available as an alternave to the standard coils) guarantees protecon against aggres-
sive atmospheres.
The frequency of cleaning depends on the environmental condions and is le to the common sense of the maintenance sta. When oxidizing
dust or grease parcles are observed on the baery surface, cleaning is recommended. In general, in a slightly polluted atmosphere, it is recom-
mended to carry out the cleaning treatment every three months.
Washing should be carried out with preferably hot water (40-60 ° C) and detergent with neutral pH, while rinsing is carried out with abundant
fresh water (50 l / m2).
If the maintenance sta observes a lack of protecve cover on the edge of the ns, it is necessary to contact the nearest service center to pro-
ceed with a new applicaon of the cover and completely restore the protecon against corrosion.
