Press the STANDBY/ON button on the projector or the remote control.
The message “Power o󰀨?” will appear on the screen for about 5 seconds.
Turning off the power

Press the STANDBY/ON button again while the message appears.
The light source will go o󰀨, and the POWER/STATUS1 indicator will begin
blinking in orange. Then the POWER/STATUS1 indicator will stop blinking
and light in steady orange when the light source cooling is completed (114).
3.
Attach the lens cover, after the POWER/STATUS1 indicator turns to steady
orange.
Power on/off
►Do not touch around the exhaust vents during use or just after
use, since it is too hot.
►Unplug the projector from the power outlet if the projector is not being used.
Remove the power cord for complete separation.
WARNING
• Turn o󰀨 the projector by following the correct procedure. Power o󰀨 the
projector after any connected devices are powered o󰀨. Do not turn on or o󰀨 the
projector while connected to a device in operation, unless that is directed in the
manual of the device. If the projector is not turned o󰀨 by following the correct
procedure, it may shorten its service life due to not being cooled down normally.
Turn o󰀨 the projector by following the correct procedure (above) except in
emergency.
• If the projector is not turned o󰀨 by following the correct procedure due to
power outage, unplug the power cord and leave the projector to cool down
su󰀩ciently.
• This projector has the function that can make the projector automatically turn
on/o󰀨. Please refer to the DIRECT POWER ON (76), AUTO POWER ON
(76) and AUTO POWER OFF (77) items of the OPTION menu.
